ZERO DISCRIMINATION DAY 2025
Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) marked Zero-Discrimination Day by hosting two workshops. Zero-Discrimination Day, observed annually on March 1st, is dedicated to combating structural and cultural prejudice, promoting equality, and fostering fairness worldwide. The day also emphasizes raising awareness about inclusion, compassion, peace, and driving social change.
The workshop aimed to create one poster with two distinct groups: children aged 5+ and participants aged 16+.
The younger children made handprints and coloured them, while the older participants did the same but engaged in discussions about important topics such as racism, prejudice, disability discrimination, and ageism. The goal was to encourage participants aged 16+ to reflect on the world around them critically.
