World Values Day
World Values Day is an annual campaign to increase the awareness and practice of values around the world. Values are what matter most to us. They motivate and guide us and they are the reason we do the things we do.
Svitac’s (Firefly in Bosnia’s) youngest participants celebrated this day at an interesting workshop. In the first part, they practised mutual trust by doing tasks in pairs – one participant was blindfolded and the other gave him instructions on what to do. In the second part, they worked in two groups on the poster – tree of kindness.
One group painted trees with branches and the other painted leaves on which we later wrote keywords such as love, trust, help, respect, friendship, togetherness, etc.
We finished the workshop by playing in the park and enjoying the beautiful weather and the sun.
