World Parents’ Day
The United Nations General Assembly declared June 1 World Parents’ Day in its 2012 resolution.
World Parents’ Day is an important reminder of the value and importance of the family. Recognition is also given to parents who selflessly, by their own example, try to invest every day in the development and protection of the youngest members of society, and emphasizes the importance of the parental role.
Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) has celebrated this day with the youngest members with the story “The Family Cloud”, which tells about family happiness, care and the importance of the role of the parents.
