World Environment Day
Every year on June 5th, World Environment Day is celebrated on the anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Environment (Stockholm) (1972), which was adopted by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
This day and every day we can take small steps to preserve our only home.
We should ride our bikes more often, walk more, and be frugal with water and plant trees and flowers.
Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) has marked this day with 15+ participants at an outdoor workshop. We talked about ecology and ways to contribute to environmental protection. Participants also wrote motivational messages concerning our only home.
