My volunteering at Svitac – Christian Mennell

“My three months at Svitac were incredible! From day one I felt welcome and part of the team. I really enjoyed working with different volunteers, as we all brought different ideas and experiences to the workshops. I had the opportunity to participate in and run a variety of workshops, from arts and music to language and sport. Also, as I was here over the summer I helped with the annual summer camps. It was so much fun working on the summer camps and children’s day. I met a lot of people in the local community many of whom I plan to stay in touch with. Safe to say that I will try to come back to Brcko at some point. Thank you Svitac, I have loved every moment of it.”
