Universal Children’s Day
On the occasion of “the Universal Day of the Child”, on 20. 11. 2018, Svitac (Firefly) organized a creative workshop which was attended by participants ages 4-7.
The goal of the workshop was to promote the importance of the Universal Children’s Day, and a stable and secure environment for children to grow up in.
The workshop was attended by 13 participants aged 4-7 years and was methodically adapted to their age.
Participants, with the support of international and local volunteers, had the opportunity to create their own city, with a variety of homes and buildings where they can enjoy their children’s rights. They also learned what the term “children’s rights” means.
The workshop was held on the premises of the Youth Centre Brčko District of BiH.
