The International Internet Day
The International Internet Day is celebrated on October 29th. Celebrating this day gives us an opportunity to raise awareness of children and young people’s online safety and wellbeing.
The Internet provides instant access to information; besides gaining knowledge, internet users have an endless supply of entertainment. Thanks to the internet, many people can study abroad or work remotely from anywhere in the world.
Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) has marked this day with an educative workshop for young children. Besides having a conversation about the safety on internet, the children had an opportunity to try out some apps on the computer, but also to draw their own laptop.
