The International Day of Non-Violence 2024
The International Day of Non-Violence is observed on October 2nd, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a pioneer in the Indian independence movement and the originator of the ideology and strategy of nonviolent resistance.
Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) has symbolically celebrated this day with the 16+ participants. The international volunteers presented about mobbing in schools and daily life. Following the debate, the group created a poster with three key points concerning mobbing: causes, impacts, and how to help. Everyone wrote keywords with a symbolic message of support.
The workshop was held in the Youth Centre Brčko District.
