The International Day of Happiness 2024
The International Day of Happiness is celebrated throughout the world on 20th March. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28th June 2012.
The International Day of Happiness aims to make people around the world realize the importance of happiness within their lives. Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) has also celebrated this day with the group of youngest participants!
The local and international volunteers have created a beautiful poster with colorful ice cream! Each scoop of ice cream was painted a different color, on which was written one word with a positive meaning in English, Finnish, German and B/H/S.
And since Wednesday is English learning day, the participants watched a fun animated video about adjectives.
