September 2015 Activities at Svitac

The September 2015 Activities at Svitac included:

  1. Music workshops (samba, guitar, choir, music workshops for children)
  2. Culture and Art Diversity around the World (includes English, German, Art&Crafts, Music and Sports workshops)
    1. Participants learned about an Asian culture through storytelling and making folding fans. They also talked about observation and had an opportunity to work with clay. By using arts and craft workshops they tried to learn how to count and how to recognise numbers.
    2. Games were meant to develop teamwork, coordination of movement and mutual respect.
  3. Language workshops (English and German)
  4. I love English (informal English workshops for teenagers and young people)
  5. Sports workshops (“Freeletics” and Karate)

There were 86 participants aged between 4 and 40 at the workshops. The youngest and the oldest participants attended the Culture and Art Diversity around the World workshops, and English/German workshops for adults.
