Promoting volunteerism in schools
On March 26, our international volunteers were invited to a high school Gymnasium at the time of the German language to discuss volunteering opportunities. Students have learned in which fields volunteers can work and why this is a valuable experience, especially after graduation and before their further career. They could ask volunteers about their decision for the volunteer service and their work in Svitac (Firefly Bosnia).
On March 27, our international volunteers participated in and assisted in the teaching of German language in the preparation of theatrical performance in the Gymnasium. In this collaboration, secondary school students used the help of native speakers of German to improve vocabulary, style, pronunciation, intonation, and hence the overall quality of work.
