Planet Earth Day 2021
On 22nd April Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) celebrated Planet Earth Day through two interactive workshops for participants ages 4-7 and 16+.
With our little friends and helpers, we have celebrated creatively Earth Day. The participants have drawn the shape of their hands, circled them with scissors and have glued the planet earth. The goal was to make the planet resting safe in children’s hands. The workshop was implemented with an educational and visual method with pictures and video.
With our participants 16+, we have talked about ecology and have made a poster with motivational and positive messages. The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness about environmental protection, to develop conversation in English and a sense of creativity.
Activities were held at the premises of the Youth centre Brčko district.
