My EVS in Spain as a Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) volunteer – Suad Murselović
Hi everyone, my name is Suad and some of the best memories of my life I owe to Erasmus plus and the EVS program. All those who say that everything beautiful passes too quickly are right. Every journey starts with a first step, and now I am making my last step on this journey called EVS.
The best that Spain has to offer is not its culture, its rich history, or Madrid. Nor is it the sunny beaches of Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga. It is not even the wine from La Rioja, a region known for the best wine in Spain, and where my EVS home was in the town of Logroño.
It was the people I had the honor and privilege to know that were the very best part of my journey. Always smiling and friendly. People who are always enjoying life, people from whom you learn about life, and from whom you learn to live. Words fall short when trying to describe this experience.
But in the end, it is in fact simple; if you want a change, if you want to be the best version of yourself, and have a bit of courage to follow your dreams, then EVS is the right choice.
