International Tolerance Day
Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) marked this day with a workshop prepared by local and international volunteers. The group learned about tolerance using the metaphor of nature, through a variety of plants and flowers.
In the introductory part, participants discussed what the term ‘tolerance’ means to them, and then discussed the importance of peaceful coexistence and the acceptance and respect of others. Afterwards, they made a tolerance garden on a green poster to show how different flowers live together and form a beautiful garden.
All activities were held on the premises of the Youth Centre in Brčko District.
