International Friendship Day 2021

International Friendship Day is celebrated on July 30. During the workshop, we talked with our participants aged 4-10 about the importance of friendship and that we should always look out for our friends. We also discussed the topic of peer violence/ bullying with a video and listening to the story ”The rotten apples”.

Our participants took this topic seriously and told us about their experiences on the playground or in the park. In the second part of the workshop, they drew or wrote a message against peer violence/bullying or what friendship means to them. In the end, we all concluded that true friendship knows no boundaries, knows no differences, but also that true friends know how to provide emotional support, compassion, care, love, through conversation, hugs.

The workshop was held at the Youth Center.
