International Day of Tolerance 2017
On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Tolerance, Svitac (Firefly) organized workshops for two groups of participants (ages 4-7 and 8+) on November 16th.
The aim of the workshops was to promote the importance of world tolerance, stability and security, and the importance of cooperation and teamwork.
The younger participants had the opportunity to make a planet Earth of paper, around which people are holding hands, as well as to watch a cartoon featuring examples and symbols of tolerance and understanding, while the older group prepared a puppet show on the topic of ‘tolerance’.
At the end of the workshop there was a discussion adapted to their age.
