International Day of Tolerance 2022

Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) celebrated the International Day of Tolerance with an interactive workshop for participants up to seven years old and 16+.

The participants talked about the word tolerance and what it means to them. They also watched an animated video about tolerance and the team of local and international volunteers created a poster with the planet earth and little boys and girls around it, which they have previously colored it.

The 16 + group discussed this important topic and made conclusions about how, in their opinion, to improve equality in the world.

Our goal with this activity was to promote creative cultural diversity, values of tolerance, and mutual respect. Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) advocates the importance of peaceful coexistence and the acceptance and respect of others.
The workshop was held at the premises of the Youth centre in Brčko District.
