International Day of Tolerance 2020
Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) marked the International Day of Tolerance with an online workshop. The participants watched an animated video “My friend Isabel” in English, which was translated into B/H /S languages with the topic of tolerance and how important it is to respect diversity. Our goal with this activity was to develop empathy for diversity and the beauty of it.
With the 13+ group, we also held an online discussion to talk about the term ‘tolerance’ what it means personally to them. We advocate the importance of peaceful coexistence and the acceptance and respect of others. Afterwards, they wrote messages about tolerance.
