International Day of Families
On the 15th May, we celebrate the “International Day of Families”, which provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families.
Svitac (Firefly Bosnia) held a workshop for children from the age of 4 to 8 in which we spoke about family members. Together we sang the songs “Baby Shark” and “Finger Family”. Finally we made a human chain out of paper and decorated it.
The workshop took place in the facilities of the local youth centre.
