International Day of Children’s rights 2017
As a celebration of the International Day of Children’s rights, on 20th November, Omladinska organizacija Svitac (Firefly) has offered creative workshops with two groups of participants (4-7 years old and 8+). The main goal was to promote the importance of world of tolerance, stability and security, as well as the importance of cooperation and teamwork.
Younger participants had an opportunity to color a worksheet where 2 kids were playing happily in a safe environment. It was representing a symbol of Children’s rights and understanding, while the older ones made a poster which represented Children’s rights and they watched a cartoon on the topic.
