In Memoriam Nevenka Varcakovic, Svitac Supporter and Mother
Firefly is deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of Nevenka Varcakovic, mother to Gordana (co-founder and director of Firefly Bosnia) and Kristina, and tireless champion of the initiative. A Brčko resident, she supported from the very beginning the work of Firefly bringing children and young people from all backgrounds together. Her warm smile, unending generosity, energy for the organisation (and incredible cooking!) will be sadly missed by many.
