Human Rights Day
On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, marked on December 10, Svitac (Firefly) organized creative workshops involving two groups of participants.
The goal of the workshops was to promote the importance of human rights, support, and mutual understanding.
During the workshop for participants aged 4 to 7, participants made snowflakes from paper, where each snowflake represented one human right.
The afternoon group did exercises on how to exceed prejudices and stereotypes, and learned about importance of human rights through the examples. During the creative part of the workshop participants drew the universal logo for human rights on a poster and wrote down the human rights that they remembered from the workshop.
The activities were held on the premises of the Youth Center of Brcko District.
