Global Recycling Day 2025
Recycling is crucial because it helps reduce waste, saves energy, and conserves natural resources, making our planet cleaner and healthier.
To teach young children about this Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) has organized a fun and educational workshop where the youngest had participated in an exciting quiz on recycling. They had learned all about the importance of reusing materials in an engaging and hands-on way! After the quiz, the children got creative by crafting a little car from a cardboard roll—showing how even everyday items can be repurposed into something new.
To wrap up, they also made a poster with a sad planet to represent what happens when we do not recycle, and a happy planet to show the positive impact of caring for our environment. It is a fun and meaningful way to inspire the next generation to take action for our planet!
