Since the winter of 2012 up until now, Svitac has hosted 16 FutureShorts film festivals. The first four screenings were coordinated by EVS volunteer Sarah Bennet, before being taken overby Sanjin Vošanović in the summer of 2013.

Throughout six years of screenings in Brčko, local and international volunteers have participated in preparation and organisation of every event through promotions, technical assistance, documentation and decorating.
