Future Shorts Film Festival – August 2017

On Friday 25th of August, 8:00 PM Svitac (Firefly) has organized another FutureShorts film night in Brčko.

The event in Brčko was a part of global FutureShorts film festival spring season. Short films that were screened in Omladinski centar (Youth Centre) were also screened in 100 cities and 40 countries all over the world.

 

The programme of summer season included the following short films:

THE COMMITTEE – Finland/Norway, dir. Jenni Toivoniemi & Gunhild Enger

HAIM-RIGHT NOW – USA, dir. Paul Thomas Anderson

JACKED – UK, dir. Rene Pannevis

LIGHT IN DARK PLACES: THE REFUGEE CRISIS IN GREECE – UK, dir. Lily Cole

OOR WALLY – Scotland, dir. Martin Lennon

Our audience in Brčko voted for “Madre” (dir. Simon Mesa Soto) as their favourite film!
