Earth Day 2022
Our planet is a beautiful place, but it really needs our help to thrive!
That’s why each year on April 22, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things like air pollution or deforestation.
We should all take part in activities like picking up litter and planting trees!
This way we are making our world a healthier and happier place to live!
Svitac (Firefly in Bosnia) celebrated Earth Day with our little friends! We learnt about nature, animals and how to look for our planet. Our youngest participants also created paper rabbits, learned a fun song about their habitat and environment and painted a beautiful earth poster!
The workshop was held on the premises of the Youth centre Brčko District BiH.
